This is my proposal for a 3-night journey to Mappe, starting on Saturday 6th June. If we were to compress it to a 2-night journey, we would either drive on to Roman from Vézelay, or drive from Vézelay straight to Mappe. I decided that prospect of doing the Alpe d’Huez climb didn’t really justify the diversion and wasn’t that important to me anyway. I would love to organise a 2-night solo trip to Mont Ventoux during our stay at Mappe if at all possible.
